  We, the Concern Members of Sekyere Kumawu District, write this petition with great displeasure and heavy heart with regards to the confirmation of Hon. Samuel Addai Agyekum, the DCE nominee for Sekyere Kumawu District on the 6th October 2021 at Besoro Pentecost Church. In the first place, the replacement of two government appointees to the assembly was not in accordance with the standing orders of the assembly there is no document indicating their swearing-in. Again, we were put in fear with the presence of the huge number of police men from the Regional police Headquarters especially during the sorting and the counting of the ballot papers.
