  BREAKING THE 8 IN THE BONO REGION WILL BE DIFFICULT WHEN SOME REGIONAL EXECUTIVES ARE DEFRAUDING SOME CONSTITUENCY CHAIRMEN - NPP BONO REGIONAL CHAIRMAN The  Bono regional chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Kwame Baffoe popularly called Abronye DC, has called on the regional executives to work in harmony to help them break the 8 which have  become the ambition of the party in the 2024 general elections which has never happened in our politics before.   WE WILL CUT OUR COCOA FARMS TO GROW OIL PALM IF GOVERNMENT FAILS TO INCREASE A BAG OF COCOA PRICE TO GH1,200 THIS YEAR... Association of cocoa farmers in Twifo Atti-morkwa district threaten Twifo Atti-morkwa District Cocoa Farmers Association in the central region has threatened to cut all their cocoa farms to grow oil palm if the government does not increase the 2022 producer price of cocoa from Gh660 to Gh1,200. Speaking in an interview with Wassa East based radio station WASSAMAN FM, the 2020 central regional best cocoa farmer, Mr. Falcon Mensah explained that the astronomic rate at which the general prices of goods and services are shooting up in the country makes it extremely difficult for cocoa farmers to survive let alone to maintain their cocoa farms. He stressed that if the government is really concerned about increasing cocoa production in Ghana, then, she should deem it most appropriate and a necessity to happily increase the 2022 cocoa producer price to Gh1,200 for cocoa
