  Angry Youths Clash With Chief For Allegedly Trying To Sell Cemetery To Private Investor. The youths of Mempeasem in the Assin Fosu Municipality of the Central Region are not taking it lightly with their chief.These youths reportedly had a serious clash with their chief who allegedly tried to sell the cemetery in the area to a private investor. Per the report , the youths of the town were hit with the development when they went to the cemetery to bury someone and upon reaching there, they saw a bulldozer busily clearing parts of the cemetery lands. They confronted the operator of the bulldozer and to their dismay, they were told that Nana Aseku-Brempong, the Caretaker chief, was the one who gave the go-ahead for the cemetery to be cleared. It was also disclosed in the report that the youth made a claim that the Benkumhene of Konsontre had allegedly sold 100 plots of the cemetery land to a Nigerian resident at Assin Kushea.
