Central Regional Football Association (FA) Chairman Tours Twifo-Attimorkwaa District



Chairman for football association (central region), Mr Mr. Robert Otieku Duncan has on 17th June toured Twifo-Attimorkwaa district to brief the press and also highlight his intention of developing the Juveniles and women's football in the region.

Briefing the press on some of his manifesto as a regional chairman, he stated that. His policy is to make sure football get to the grassroots; hence he urged all media paternity especially the department of football to educate, encourage and promote local football games in their locality. "We devote most of our time in foreign football, it's time to pay much of our attention to our local matches/games"

Furthermore, Mr. Duncan appealed to the parents through the press to help both financially and also encourage their words who has the talent in the football games because they would become the future players to replace the senior players we are having. Education is very important but we should not discourage our children if they show the interest in the football games.

After the press briefing, Mr Duncan visited the office of the Twifo-Attimorkwaa District Chief Executive (DCE) Hon Robert Agyemang Nyantakyi to seek for his support and permission to form Juveniles club in the district, but unfortunately, the District Chief Executive (DCE) was not around at the moment but the district coordinating director Mr. Ishmael Anaman received the chairman in a fantastic manner.

At the district coordinating director's office, Mr Duncan appealed to the Assembly to assist the FA in the district to create an administrative office in the district to help the association especially in the management  of the Juveniles club in the district.


On behalf of the DCE and the assemble as a whole, Mr Ishmael Anaman accepted the proposal of setting up an administrative office of FA in the district and urged Mr Duncan to present an official request in a shortest possible time for their office.
