Isaac Manu, Leader of the Presidential Watchtower and Member of Assin North Communication Team has penned a statement acknowledging the new approach by the NDC Government, led by President Mahama, in tackling Ghana's pressing issues, including the fight against illegal mining, also known as galamsey. According to Rev. Manu, the NDC Government has made a 120-day contract with Ghanaians, and it is essential to measure their progress without disruptions. He emphasized that the previous NPP Government's approach to combating galamsey was ineffective and even exacerbated the problem, necessitating a declaration of a state of emergency.
