Rev Manu Commends New NDC Government's Fresh Approach to National Challenges
Rev. Isaac Manu, Leader of the Presidential Watchtower and Member of Assin North Communication Team has penned a statement acknowledging the new approach by the NDC Government, led by President Mahama, in tackling Ghana's pressing issues, including the fight against illegal mining, also known as galamsey.
According to Rev. Manu, the NDC Government has made a 120-day contract with Ghanaians, and it is essential to measure their progress without disruptions. He emphasized that the previous NPP Government's approach to combating galamsey was ineffective and even exacerbated the problem, necessitating a declaration of a state of emergency.
In contrast, the NDC Administration has adopted a different strategy to address the issue, which Rev. Manu believes will yield better results. He stressed that the galamsey fight requires a comprehensive government machinery approach and that more actions will be taken after the election of Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs).
Rev. Manu's statement underscores the NDC Government's commitment to revitalizing Ghana's economy and addressing the country's challenges, as outlined in President Mahama's key policies, including implementing a 24-hour economy strategy and transforming Ghana into an import substitution and export-led economy.
