Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has ordered his constituency chairman Mr Attakora Amaniampong to refund all the money he has deducted from Assin Central polling station executives's Christmas gift. It has become norm for Hon. Ken to gift all his constituency polling station executives every Christmas season but this year's gift nearly pass a wrong channel as the constituency chairman together with some executives in the Constituency took decision to deduct an amount of ¢ 200.00 from each of the polling station executives Christmas package towards new party office construction project. Scores of disgruntled New Patriotic (NPP) polling station executives and electoral area coordinators in the Assin Central Constituency are reeling in anger. They have accused the Constituency Chairman, Mr. Attakora Amaniampong of forcibly billing them for the construction of a so-called constituency office.   OVER 400 AGGRIEVED UNEMPLOYED RESIDENTS OF WASSA AKYEMPIM STAGE A MASSIVE DEMO AGAINST GOLDEN STAR WASSA MINING LTD FOR REFUSING THEM EMPLOYMENT AFTER DESTROYING THEIR FARM LANDS Over 400 aggrieved jobless residents mostly youth of Wassa Akyempim in the Wassa East district of western region have expressed their fed up displeasure through demonstration against Golden Star Wassa mining Ltd. According to Kwasi Mensah who is the convenor and leader of the unemployed residents, since the mining company was established at Wassa Akyempim for decades, the company has refused to offer the residents employments.   Assin Akropong Market Committee Vindicate Frank Asante Over Constituency Chairman's Fraud Allegations The Committee running affairs of the market has been notified of a circulating news  which we see as a serious allegation and a complete defamation.  It has come to our notice that Mr. Attakora Amaniampong, the Assin Central  Constituency Chairman (NPP) in an interview on Nap Fm at Assin Fosu audaciously  said Mr Frank Asante who happens to be the project coordinator for Assin Akropong  Youth Association is a fraudster and that he and his counterparts are extorting an  amount of two hundred cedis (200.00 cedis) from the market women which is a  false allegation.  We want to make it clear to Mr. Attakora Amaniampong that, Assin Akropong Youth  Association is not the same as Akotiman and  Frank Asante is also not part of the  committee and therefore not close to our finances.  Finally the Assin Akropong Youth Association is only pushing the agenda for the  market to function proper
