NDC Applauds NPP For Prosperous Annual Delegates Conference 2019

NDC Applauds NPP For Prosperous Annual Delegates Conference 2019.

The largest opposition National Democratic Congress NDC has praised the ruling New Patriotic Party NPP for being able to organize a successful Annual Delegates Conference in this festive season.

The Formal Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of National Health Insurance Scheme NHIS Mr Sylvester Mensah delivering a solidarity address on behalf of the NDCs on the occasion of the Annual National Delegates Conference of the NPP held at the LA TRADE FAIR CENTER on Sunday 22nd December 2019,   salutes the NPP for the courage to hold a National Delegates Conference during this Christmas season, when the sentiments of the majority of Ghanaians are that of a “Sakoora” Christmas.
" Let me congratulate you for excellent organization of this event. We wish you well in all your deliberations,"

He noted that, the NDC is sincere and committed to the ideal that no party out of government should wish failure for any government. If a government’s programmes are successful, they will inure to the benefit of the generality of our people.

It will be good for the over trumpeted red, gold, green Free SHS to succeed so that the in-coming NDC government in 2020 can sustain and improve it to make it better for all Ghanaians – Ghana will be the winner for that.

In addition, Mr Sylvester Mensah believed that, this time of the year reminds us all of the need for peace on earth and goodwill towards all men. You cannot have peace without goodwill. You need both; and herein lies the challenge to our opposite in government: you have the opportunity to apply these two concepts, so they make a positive impact on the lives of our fellow country-men and women.

We have witnessed policies and regulatory interventions that have had dire consequences for entrepreneurs, skilled staff and customers in the financial sector; we have witnessed mass exiting of Ghanaians from jobs in the public sector, just because they profess to political philosophies other than yours.
Additionally, press freedom is under siege; the continued closure of media houses perceived to be sympathetic to the NDC is a blot on our democracy and undermines tolerance and freedom of expression. It is a legacy no one should be proud of. These are not attributes of “peace and goodwill”. He said

In conclusion he said, NDC is closely observing the deliberate harassment of its National Party Chairman, Honourable Ofosu Ampofo.
To this end, our Christmas message of: "Peace on earth, Goodwill towards all men" should serve as a clarion call and a beacon, providing light and guidance to all our parties in the effort to make Ghana a more humane environment and the great country we know it can be for today and posterity.

The the Assin Obobakokrowa D/A Basic School has not seen any major rehabilitation since its establishment in 1970s. Parents and residents in and around the community are appealing for urgent assistance due to the deteriorating condition of their classroom blocks .  The school's infrastructure has become unsafe, forcing pupils to learn under dire circumstances. Parts of the aluminum roofing sheets are rusting away, while their remains hang loosely on the tiny erected concrete pillars. Class sessions end abruptly whenever the clouds gather.  “Our roof is ripping off. And when it rains, it leaks into our classroom, so we have to end classes.  “When it leaks, our books get wet and we are not able...

How could you fall for a lady with such long fingers nails? – Kennedy Agyapong to Kan Dapaah

How could you fall for a lady with such long fingers nails? – Kennedy Agyapong to Kan Dapaah Member of Parliament of Assin Central Kennedy Agyapong is of the view that Albert Kan Dapaah should not be crucified over the amorous video with a lady identified as Chantelle Kujawu but is wondering how the National Security minister could fall for a lady with long and scary finger nails. The legislator making a submission on Oman FM indicated that he is “not clean”, neither is any man, hence will be unfair and hypocritical to castigate his fellow man for engaging in such an act. “Let the clean cast the stone,” he said but hilariously questioned why Mr. Kan Dapaah could not fall for something better. “I looked at the lady’s finger nails and wondered ‘what could National Security minister be doing with such finger nails?’” Like Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram Samuel Nartey George and satirist Kwame A Plus, Mr. Agyapong suggested that the incident was orchestr...
