Ken Agyapong And Wontumi Influencing Some NDC Executives With Money To Fail NDC.....Dep. Communications Officer Alleges . Oti regional deputy communication officer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), OdenehoKwame Abraham Boafo has alleged that member of parliament for Assin Fosu and the new patriotic party's Ashanti regional chairman, Anwti Bosiako aka Wontumi are seriously destroying the NDC with money, they are taking advantage of the money consciousness of some close friends of His excellency John Dramani Mahama and some national executives of the NDC to frustrate the party and if care is not taken, it shall have a long term inverse effect on the party. There are some close people to JM who carry themselves as angels but very cunning, and diabolical, Kennedy Agyapong and Antwi Bosiako Wontumi bought them to leak our sensitive information, and it's sickening how the NDC before will plan something, Kennedy Agyapong will have first hand information about that a

Marietta Brew Appiah-Opong Rebuffs Reports On Airbus Bribery Claims

Marietta Brew Appiah-Opong Rebuffs Reports On Airbus Bribery Claims Our attention has been drawn to media reports about a Deferred Prosecution Agreement (DPA) entered between Airbus SE and the United Kingdom Serious Fraud Office in respect of the practice of Airbus SE in paying commission to its agents and the use of those commissions. The reports alleging that Airbus SE paid bribes during the administration of President John Evans Atta Mills and John Dramani Mahama are false, misleading and do not reflect the Approved Judgment. Indeed, the Approved Judgment of the Crown Court of Southwark approving the DPA between Airbus and the UK Serious Fraud Office does not allege that any payment was made by Airbus to any Ghanaian Government official. It is therefore a gross distortion for the media to conclude that officials of the Ghana Government between 2009 and 2015 were bribed or paid any commissions by Airbus for the acquisition of the Casa C-295 aircrafts. Alleged Airbus Scandal Involving John Dramani Mahama . Airbus, Europe’s largest aerospace multinational, is to pay a record £3bn in penalties after admitting it had paid huge bribes on an “endemic” basis to land contracts in 20 countries. Anti-corruption investigators hailed the result as the largest ever corporate fine for bribery in the world after judges declared that the corruption was “grave, pervasive and pernicious”. Advertisement The planemaker agreed to pay the penalties on Friday after reaching settlements with investigators in the UK, France and the US to end inquiries that started four years ago. In the high court in London, Dame Victoria Sharp, the President of the Queen’s Bench Division, approved the settlement struck with the UK’s Serious Fraud Office (SFO). She said: “The seriousness of the criminality in this case hardly needs to be spelled out. As is acknowledged on all sides, it was grave.” She added that the scale of the wrongdoing demonstrated tha
