In connection with the finance committee,the education and culture committee,health and sanitation committee,the security and infrastructure committee, we have successfully achieved 95% of our first 5years development plan with a total amount of 426,500.00 gh cedis less donations.   Assin Akropong Market Committee Vindicate Frank Asante Over Constituency Chairman's Fraud Allegations The Committee running affairs of the market has been notified of a circulating news  which we see as a serious allegation and a complete defamation.  It has come to our notice that Mr. Attakora Amaniampong, the Assin Central  Constituency Chairman (NPP) in an interview on Nap Fm at Assin Fosu audaciously  said Mr Frank Asante who happens to be the project coordinator for Assin Akropong  Youth Association is a fraudster and that he and his counterparts are extorting an  amount of two hundred cedis (200.00 cedis) from the market women which is a  false allegation.  We want to make it clear to Mr. Attakora Amaniampong that, Assin Akropong Youth  Association is not the same as Akotiman and  Frank Asante is also not part of the  committee and therefore not close to our finances.  Finally the Assin Akropong Youth Association is only pushing the agenda for the  market to function proper

Assin Akropong Youth Association Rubbishes Fraud Allegations By Constituency Chairman The leadership of a vibrant socio-developmental group at Assin Akropong in the Assin Central Constituency of the Central Region called *Assin Akropong Youth Association*,  has dismissed claims by Mr. Attakora Amaniampong the Assin Central Constituency NPP Chairman who is allegedly to be the campaign manager for one of the Npp parliamentary Aspirants (Obed Kumi Awuah) that, the project coordinator for Assin Akropong Youth Association Mr Frank Asante  has initiated a fraudulent agenda to extort money from the market women in Assin Akropong in the name of commissioning an abandoned market center in the aforementioned town.   TRADERS PROTEST AGAINST CHIEF OVER ILLEGAL DEMOLITION An illegal demolition exercise carried out by some macho men at Twifo Hemang in the Hemang Lower Denkyira District of the Central Region that is alleged to be an order from the Chief of the town, Otumfour Amoah Sasraku IV has left the angry traders and artisans to protest against the exercise. Association of cocoa farmers in Twifo Atti-morkwa district threaten Twifo Atti-morkwa District Cocoa Farmers Association in the central region has threatened to cut all their cocoa farms to grow oil palm if the government does not increase the 2022 producer price of cocoa from Gh660 to Gh1,200. Speaking in an interview with Wassa East based radio station WASSAMAN FM, the 2020 central regional best cocoa farmer, Mr. Falcon Mensah explained that the astronomic rate at which the general prices of goods and services are shooting up in the country makes it extremely difficult for cocoa farmers to survive let alone to maintain their cocoa farms.   Samuel Korley Foundation Feeds Over 200 Street Children, Beggars And Hawkers Some streets in Accra, Ashaiman and it's environs to be precised were full of excitement when a vehicle belonging to Samuel Korley Foundation arrived to distribute food to Persons With Disability (PwDs) and children on the street including young hawkers. Samuel Korley Foundation ; is a Non-Governmental Organization who's mission is to break the vicious cycle of poverty and social isolation and to restore hope for a better future. They believe that every person has the right to access resources and opportunities in order to live and develop with dignity and to become an active and contributing member of our society.
