SDA Church Do Not Have A Solid Case To Demand For The Change Of 7th December For 2024 Elections: Razak Kojo Opoku.

SDA Church Do Not Have A Solid Case To Demand For The Change Of 7th December For 2024 Elections: Razak Kojo Opoku.  The current leadership of Seventh-Day Adventist Church DO NOT have any solid grounds to demand for the change of date for this year 2024 general election due to the following facts: In 1996, the general election was conducted on Saturday, 7th December. The SDA Church did not opposed to the date at that time. They fully voted on that day.   The Honeymoon Period Saga : Razak Kojo Opoku Writes The campaign promise of using 100 days or less to fix challenges facing the Country has become noise in the ears of Ghanaians due to the lack of honesty and commitment on the part of Politicians over the years. A lot of things have gone wrong with the governance of this Country especially under the 4th Republic but sadly many people out of cowardice or due to their selfish interest have decided to remain mute or silence over national issues.  The NPP and NDC only embrace the Truth when it favours their political agenda but completely Reject and Fight same when it undermines their respective chances of winning and maintaining political power. In opposition, Politicians embrace the Truth but in power reject and fight it, and this dishonest attitude is one of the weaknesses of Ghana's democracy. The collective focus should rather be on Ghana First regardless of which party or President is in power. That's why H. E. Nana Akufo-A

Constitution Day: Amend Some Constitutional Provisions To Allow The Election Of MMDCEs.......GJN.  Today is Constitution Day, a public holiday set aside to mark the coming into effect of the 1992 Constitution and the birth of the Fourth Republic. The Ghana Journalists Network (GJN) wishes all a memorable holiday. The day reminds Ghanaians of their commitment to uphold the tenets of the rule of law, constitutionalism, and democracy. More importantly, the day is to remind the citizens of their collective commitment to a regime of uninterrupted constitutional order. It also states, in very clear terms, the fundamental rights and duties of all citizens. For that matter, the GJN reminds all to end the apparent impunity for crimes and assaults against Journalists’.  Instead, journalists must be supported and commended for their courage, particularly across the African Continent where a free press is an expensive commodity. The recent surge in assaults and killings of journalists for not kowt

The GJN demands the immediate arrest and prosecution of these social miscreants to serve as a deterrent to others. It further calls on the government, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), civil society organizations (CSOs), the diplomatic community, international agencies, and all well-meaning Ghanaians to roundly condemn the attack. Such moves, the GJN believes, will significantly reduce the apparent political tension in the run-up to the 2024 general election. Mr. David Kobbina among other journalists, went to report on the ongoing NPP vetting of parliamentary aspirants at the Central Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) in Cape Coast. Whilst sitting under the RCC
