Covid-19; Assin South NABCO Personnel Donates 3,500 Nose Masks To Assembly Members.   Personnel of the Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) in the Assin South District Assembly  have donated 3,500 pieces of locally manufactured Norse mask to all the 36 Assembly members in the Assin South District Assembly of the Central Region to help the fight against the novel coronavirus pandemic. The Norse mask which was made with FDA and Ministry of Health Standards NABCO Cloth at an estimated cost of GH¢2,500.00, were presented to the Assembly members during an Emergency meeting at the District Assembly Hall.  Mr. Emmanuel J K BOADI, the Assin South Coordinator of NABCO and aslo the Presiding Member for the Assin South District Assembly presenting the items to the the Assembly Members, said the donation formed part of the Corps' contribution to the fight against the coronavirus disease. 2017 U-17 Equipment Officer Cries For Help Ghana's Under 17 (U-17) equipment officer Mr. Abdul Razak who had an accident on his way to send Jersey to players during the U-17  AFCON which was held in Gabon the year 2017 is crying bitterly to the Ghana Football Authorities (GFA) to as a matter of urgency come to his aid financially. CVM Urges Government to Lift Ban on  Churches The President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo has done tremendously well in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. A lot of measures have been put in place to curtail the spread of the Coronavirus including a ban on Public and Social gatherings for religious activities, funerals, Schools, marriage ceremonies etc. However, we are appealing to President Akufo-Addo to lift the ban on Public and Social Gatherings. Over reliance on Science and Medical Experts in dealing with the COVID-19 would not help matters.  Science and Medical Experts have their own limitations and deficiencies. The prolonged ban on Public and Social gatherings would have dire consequences on the other Sectors of the Economy, creating unnecessary fear and panic for the population thereby delaying the socio-economic progress of the country Life needs to return to normalcy in Ghana. Twifo-Attimorkwaa District Records Eight 8 Confirmed Corona-virus cases . The Twifo-Attimorkwaa District of the Central Region has first time recorded 8 confirmed case of the COVID-19 Hon. Robert Agyemang Nyantakyi, District Chief Executive (DCE) for Twifo-Attimorkwaa district who disclosed this on Twifo Praso based radio station sweet fm on Friday 22nd May, said the patients were discovered through a contact tracing which was conducted at one of the nine ongoing hospitals being constructed across the country by Euroget De-Invest, an Egyptian capital investment company, the company in the district. He said 64 samples was sent for test which 8 out of them proved positive. 7 of them has been sent to Kasoa for Quarantine while the remaining one has traveled and information has been sent to his families and friends to report to any health facility when seen. Twifo-Attimorkwaa district in the central region led by Hon Robert Agyemang Nyantakyi in collaboration with Twifo Oil Palm Plantations Limited (TOPP)  has raised 48,000 oil palm seedlings to farmers in the district in fulfillment of government flagship program, Planting for Export and Rural Development (PERD) This is the first phase of the program in the district.  The ceremony occurred at TOPP, one of the most leading oil palm Plantations in Africa. Abraham Dwuma Odoom in collaboration with the NPP constituency chairman Mr. Kingsford Kwaku Wilson and other executives, has cut the sod for the construction of a market in Twifo Praso town in the Twifo-Attimorkwaa District. Twifo-Attimorkwaa MP Tours His Constituency, Visits An Ongoing Euroget Hospital project Hon Abraham Dwumah Odoom, the member of parliament for Twifo-Attimorkwaa Constituency in the central region on Wednesday May 13 2020  paid a day visit to this constituency to inspect the government ongoing projects in the constituency.  The inspection covered 60-bed almost completed Hospital facility in the district, the project is being constructed by Euroget De-Invest, an Egyptian capital investment company, is one of nine hospitals being constructed by the company across the country. COVID-19, GET PPEs FOR OUR FRONT LINERS: SWEET FM PRESENTS PPEs The management of Twifo Praso based radio station sweet fm of the Twifo-Attimorkwaa District in the central region launched a mini policy dubbed "GET PPE's FOR OUR FRONT LINERS" with the aim to solicit fund to purchase PPEs to the front liners in the district. After a month publicity of  GET PPE's FOR OUR FRONTLINERS. Sweet fm were able to mobilized some items and cash. The items were successfully donated to the targeted front liners which includes Ghana police service, Ghana Fire Service, One private clinic called St. Florence memorial antenatal clinic, Ghana cooperative drivers union and the district Hospital.
