Twifo-Attimorkwaa District Records Eight 8 Confirmed Corona-virus cases.
The Twifo-Attimorkwaa District of the Central Region has first time recorded 8 confirmed case of the COVID-19
Hon. Robert Agyemang Nyantakyi, District Chief Executive (DCE) for Twifo-Attimorkwaa district who disclosed this on Twifo Praso based radio station sweet fm on Friday 22nd May, said the patients were discovered through a contact tracing which was conducted at one of the nine ongoing hospitals being constructed across the country by Euroget De-Invest, an Egyptian capital investment company, the company in the district.
He said 64 samples was sent for test which 8 out of them proved positive. 7 of them has been sent to Kasoa for Quarantine while the remaining one has traveled and information has been sent to his families and friends to report to any health facility when seen.
Hon. Nyantakyi expressed deep concern about the attitude of some people who are defying COVID19 pandemic protocols to always wear nose masks and practicing of social Distancing and cautioned them to stop secretly before the law caught up with them.
