African Continental Free Trade Agreement Will Create And Build New Africa …… Policy Network Affirms


African Continental Free Trade Agreement will surely create and build new Africa within the shortest possible time. This was affirmed by the policy Network Ghana and Diaspora.

Rev. Dr. Worlanyo Mensah, the director of Trade Research for the policy network has indicated.


Rev. Dr. Worlanyo Mensah is also an economist and lecturer with the Wisconsin International University College as well as the Executive Director of Centre for Greater Impact Africa a think tank of academic scholars.

The Policy Network indicate that with the commencement of the Free Trade Area which most African countries already sign the agreement, Development across Africa is assured.


He therefore advice various Governments to adopt proactive approach in doing development.

Strategic planning is required as well as the continent needs to adopt integrated development approach in tackling various developmental challenges across the continent.

Africa have everything it takes to move to the next level in the era of knowledge based economy other to attain sustainable development.


Africa Continental Free Trade have much more stimulus packages for local and African’s living in diaspora to take advantage of various platforms, policies, program as well as various support schemes to industrialized.

Mighty aviation hub to be establish which will obviously open up the local economy for various multi-national Company’s and organizations to invest.

Job creation is another strong agenda for the continental secretariat.

Diversification and Commercialization will greatly expand along the Coast of Africa.


New Manufacturing Companies will be establish in strategic areas to meet market demands which will invariably translate to job creation and massive reduction in unemployment rate across the Continent.

Technical and Vocation education will be largely supported in order to produce skill labour for the timing market demand.

Effective and efficient utilization of factors of production will be ensure to enable Commercial production.



The policy network also give the assurance that, AfCFTA will promote good governance and rule of law at all levels as far as Trade and Industry is concerned.

Rev. Dr. Worlanyo Mensah indicated that the model currently used in most African Countries are the Colonial model which must be drop immediately if only we want to achieve much result and success. 

The man of God who is also the Presiding Bishop of Christ Whitehouse Chapel International advice various religious institutions to take the industrialization drive as a form of corporate social responsibility to support various entrepreneurs in their congregations to set-up small and medium scale enterprises which will help employ many more members to reduce the high rate of unemployment.



Rev. Dr. Worlanyo Mensah encourages the Media to be more focus on developmental issues rather than pertinent partisan and personal interests.

He give the assurance that Africa will overcome the Covid-19 attack on the continent by God’s grace.

AfCFTA has come to stay and must be welcome by all Africans. He advice the leaders of AfCFTA Secretariat to be focus and not to be intimidated by the actions, plans, agenda and tactics of the Western world which he indicated, they will surely come or appear in another form just for distraction.



He ask the new Continental leaders to seek the interest and welfare of Africa. He prayed that they will be sacrificial servant transformational leaders who will take Africa to another level.

He was grateful for the executive director and the Board Chairman for their instrumentation so far.
