2020-2021 Central Regional Best Cocoa Farmer Urges Farmers To Hold The Farming Business In High Esteem.


Mr. Mensah Falcon is the 2020-2021 central regional Best Cocoa Farmer who doubles as the Ambassador for Twifo Ati-Morkwa District Farmers' Union has encouraged farmers in the country particularly those in the Twifo Ati-Morkwa district to offer the greatest of respect to the Agribusiness in order to attract others to join the industry. He added that, it is high time the farmers should recognize themselves as self-sufficient and desist from bowing down to politicians for little assistance.


Mr. Mensah Falcon disclosed this when about 32 out 400 farmers' cooperatives in the Twifo Ati-Morkwa district came together to form one Farmers' Union to champion the course of the farmers in the district.


He cautioned politicians not to join the newly formed Farmers' Union with political motive to  distort the purpose with which the Union was instituted.


Mr. Mensah Falcon urged other farmers' cooperatives in the district that are yet to join this Union which is the mother and the mouthpiece of all the cooperatives in the Twifo Ati-Morkwa district to come on board so that as one mother Union, they can fight for the welfare of the farmers in the district.
