"Come Home To Support The Development Of Your Community"....Executive Director of Network For Assin Development Called On Diaspora


The Executive Director of Network For Assin Development, Mr. Samuel Adobah has called on the natives of Assin BROFOYEDUR who are in diaspora to support the development of the community.

He also used the opportunity to appeal to investors to support renovate schools in bad state in the area.

Mr Adobah said this when the Chief of Assin BROFOYEDUR in the Assin Central Municipality of the Central Region, Nana Agyapong Ntrada II, Celebrated 15 years of his enskinment amidst a rich display culture. 

Mr Adobah who double as a News Anchor and peace ambassador commended the efforts of the Chief and opinion leaders for bringing such a move since the Community has not experienced such an occasion over the years.

Mr Adobah Samuel has led the Network For Assin Development for 2 years and has donated building materials to schools. He emphasize that development is a shared responsibility therefore all should join to change the narrative of the community.

The Climax of the event began with drumming and dancing amidst different activities within the Municipality. Speaking at the occasion,

NANA Agyapong Ntrada II, noted that traditional Leaders are integral part of government which could not be overlooked 

According to him, the Objectives of the Celebration is also to raise funds to support the Community development especially the community center which was started some year ago in order to complete the project.

The Chief, who doubles as a Educationist advised the youth to desist from ungodly activities and rather focus on education for a sustainable future.

NANA Agyapong Ntrada II therefore called on government and civil society organizations to support the community development.

BRAKO Diamonds were first discovered in the Gold Coast Colony (Ghana) near the Birim River close to the town of Abomosu in 1919. The Birim diamond discoveries led mining companies to invest along that river. However, not until 1929 did organized diamond mining begin following additional diamond discoveries made by Ghanaian prospectors in the gravels of Bediebewu streams near Tarkwa.
