  Striking Teachers; We Are Not Going Back To Class Room Until Government Do The Needful... Western Region GNAT Chairman The strike by teachers in public basic and senior high schools is to be sustained until concerns about teachers conditions of service and other matters are addressed.  Western Regional chairman of Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) Mr Peter Obeng Nyamekye, in an interview on Takoradi based Radio station Fox fm 103.1 social morning show dubbed "Asɛm Bɛba Dɛbi" who asserted the position, have vowed not to return to the classroom.  Mr Nyamekye said meeting between the teachers and the Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations to address the concerns is expected today. He says teachers are ready to put in enough work to make up for the lost time. He added however that "What will bring us back to the classroom will be when we have a memorandum of understanding indicating clearly a roadmap as to what they will do in terms of our demands." I
