Asene Manso Akroso District Assembly Gets Presiding Member After Three Failed Attempts The Asene Manso Akroso District Assembly in the Eastern Region has successfully elected a Presiding Member after three failed attempts. The previous contests saw between the incumbent, Hon. Enoch Ofori Aiden, securing 11 votes, and Hon. Andrew Dough obtaining 21. Per Section 27 of the Local Governance Act (Act 936), the Presiding Member must be elected by at least two-thirds of Assembly members.
