Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) in the Central Region together with the Regional Minister have chanced on an audio recording which suggests that monies belonging to school feeding caterers who cooked for students in Private Schools (JHS2 and JHS3) in the region have been paid into a supposed merchant account belonging to the Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party - Mr. Robert Kutin Jnr.  The statement made in the recorded audio was categorically from the Regional Director of NADMO, Mr. Joseph Donkor.   We Won't Rest Till Criminals Are NO More..Twifo Hemang Lower-Denkyira & Ati-Morkwa District Police Commander  Assures Residents The Twifo Hemang Lower-Denkyira & Ati-Morkwa districts police command has instigated devastating war on criminals particularly on thieves in the dual districts. Speaking in an interview on Sweet FM, the Twifo Hemang Lower-Denkyira & Ati-Morkwa districts police commander DSP Charles Adei Boateng disclosed that, since January this year, the cases of theft have astronomically increased in the districts with very alarming trend. People are consistently breaking into others rooms to steal, he lamented. In this regard, the police has introduced  additional patrol systems to augment the existing strategies. This, he said is to combat wholly the activities of these criminals. Mr. Mensah Falcon is the 2020-2021 central regional Best Cocoa Farmer who doubles as the Ambassador for Twifo Ati-Morkwa District Farmers' Union  has encouraged farmers in the country particularly those in the Twifo Ati-Morkwa district to offer the greatest of respect to the Agribusiness in order to attract others to join the industry.   NLA Suspends Questionable Contracts Pending Composition of a New Board In accordance with the National Lotto Act 722 and Lottery Regulations L. I. 1948, the National Lottery Authority (NLA) has suspended all collaboration agreements which do not seem to have received the appropriate Board Approval. This became necessary after the Management of the Authority  conducted  internal investigations into some of these contracts.  The Management of the NLA wants to place on record that after its internal investigations, it has been established that only four  (4) companies operating in partnership with NLA had received Board Approval from the previous Board.  However, any Lottery Company which has been affected by this management decision has every right in the absence of the Board and substantive Director-General to appeal to the Ministry of Finance (supervising Ministry of NLA) or the Office of the President( the appointing authority)for review.
