Referendum; LPG Calls For "YES" Vote Comes December 17 LPG Declares Stand On Incoming December 17 Referendum The Liberal party of Ghana (LPG) has declared it's position on the upcoming December 17 Referendum by endorsing the "YES" vote to repeal Article 55(3) of the Constitution. The referendum seeks to amend the constitution to give electorates the power to elect directly their own Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) In an interaction with the media, the flag bearer of the party Hon. Sekondi Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly Made an  Unaccounted Items Of - GH¢147,948.60 The Sekondi Takoradi Metropolitan is one of the 260 Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) in Ghana and forms part of the 14 MMDAs in the Western Region. Government Delegation from Ivory Coast Understudy National Lottery Authority(NLA ) The National Lottery Authority(NLA) led by the Director-General, Hon. Kofi Osei-Ameyaw on Friday, 15th November, 2019 received a Government Delegation from the Republic of Cote d'Ivoire(Ivory Coast) at the Authority's Headquarters in Accra. I know you are really anxious for our children to do well in school. And, I want to remind you that, Teachers and Students are still waiting for the new teaching and learning materials to support the new curriculum implementation process. As at 9th week on the academic calendar, there are no textbooks, audio/visual materials relating to the new curriculum.  Now, according to the Education Ministry, they can't tell when the new text books will be distributed to schools hmm. Teachers are stranded because government has cautioned them not to use the old books. Please why? and I know the resource pack book is not for the pupils but to provide gist of the curriculum to teachers. Aren't they the ones that needed it the most?
