Akropong Youth Association To Launch House-To-House Sensitization Exercise To Campaign Against NPP Over Their Deplorable Road




A Social-economical group called "Akropong Youths Association" in the Assin central constituency of the central region has threatened to launch a campaign team in the constituency to sensitize the constituents why they should vote against the New Patriotic Patty (NPP) in the December 7, general elections.



In an interview with the Chairman of the group Mr. Samuel Oheneba Tutu, He said, the leadership of the group has decided to undergo such exercise because of the bad nature of their Road (Assin Borofoyedur-Akim Oda road), addressing the press, Oheneba said, numerous Demonstrations, press conferences and presentation of partitions have been held to draw the attention of the Assin Fosu Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Nicholas Kofi Baako and their Members of Parliament, Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong since the beginning of the year but they seemed to be unconcerned about their needs.



The leadership of Assin central are of the view that, Assin Akropong natives are strong NPPs, hence they will not do any Developmental work for us because they know we will definitely vote for them during an elections, we will show them that, we've wised up now, you can not deny us for our needs and expect us to vote for, we are going to sensitize people in the community with the help electrical gadget (projector) to vote for development instead, Oheneba Tutu noted.



He revealed this after some members of the group (Akropong Youths Association) started accusing the leadership of the group that, they have kept mute about their Road because they (the leadership of Akropong Youths Association) has taken bribe from the party executives in the area. But, the Chairman of the group debunked the allegations and assured his members to keep calm for they are preparing for something different after the numerous Demonstrations.



In conclusion, Mr. Samuel Oheneba Tutu emphasized that, by 10th November they are going to present 2,000 dignitaries petitions to the office of the president, to let the president know how Assin central is suffering in terms of development.
