  NLA Suspends Questionable Contracts Pending Composition of a New Board In accordance with the National Lotto Act 722 and Lottery Regulations L. I. 1948, the National Lottery Authority (NLA) has suspended all collaboration agreements which do not seem to have received the appropriate Board Approval. This became necessary after the Management of the Authority  conducted  internal investigations into some of these contracts.  The Management of the NLA wants to place on record that after its internal investigations, it has been established that only four  (4) companies operating in partnership with NLA had received Board Approval from the previous Board.  However, any Lottery Company which has been affected by this management decision has every right in the absence of the Board and substantive Director-General to appeal to the Ministry of Finance (supervising Ministry of NLA) or the Office of the President( the appointing authority)for review. Twifo Nyinase Chief Appeals For A  Police Post To Combat Criminal Activities In The Community Chief of Twifo Nyinase who doubles as the Kontinhene of Twifo Traditional council in the Twifo Ati-Morkwa District of  central region Nana Nkwantabisa III has made a pasionate appeal to the Government, NGOs and philanthropists to help him get a police station in Twifo Nyinase which serves about 10 other populated communities to enable him unravel criminal activities in Twifo Nyinase and its surrounding communities. The right of every individual is subject to respect for the right and freedom of others and the public interest....per Article 12(2)...of the 1992 constitution...of which everybody is basically using against the heads of Achimota School..... What is happening in Achimota School now....bothers on public policy considerations..... And on issues of public policy considerations no individual interest and rights are better served than public interest and consideration. LGBTQI IS AGAINST OUR VALUES, LET'S APPLY COMMON SENSE NOT HUMAN RIGHTS - EAI Dir. Human Rights And Rural Dev. Gregory Addae Diaw. Same-sex sexual acts are illegal in Ghana that's why majority of Ghanaians are holding anti-LGBTQI and its a step in the right direction and EAI support the anti-LGBTQI. Despite the constitution guaranteeing a right to freedom of speech, expression, and assembly doesn't mean we should allow such group to operate in God's country Ghana. As a country, we must not attribute it to human rights. It's against our values and it has no place to operate. Words from the President can't stop them from operations but positive actions. Apparently, LGBTQI is a criminal act which is against the laws of our country as chapter 6 section 104(1)(b) of the Criminal Offenses Code Act, 1960 (Act 29) as amended and I quote "anyone who performs such act should be threaten, arrest and punish individuals for engaging in same-sex sexual conduct."
