The Broken Pieces Together Before You Can Be A Qualify Candidate Of NPP...Bawumia Told

A vibrant member of the United Patriots, members of the (New Patriotic Party) Mr. Kofi Baffour, has passionately called of the vice president of the republic of Ghana, His Excellency Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia to call his supporters to order, in other for him to have a peaceful mind in his office as vice president.

Mr. Baffour suggests that, the timing whereby some Posters of Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia vying for the flag bearership position of the NPP ahead of the next elections have emerged on social media just few months after the party won the December 7 2020 elections is too early and such activity is not right given that; President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has just been sworn into office for his second term.

He explained that; if the NPP will be able to win the next elections it will largely depend on the performance of President Akufo-Addo and vice president Dr Bawumia hence, he should caution his supporters who are setting up such agenda and focus in his office support the president to deliver.

"Bawumia should be focused on his office and make sure all his initiatives like; national property address system, paperless port system and etc. are properly implemented before he thinks of becoming the flag bearer of NPP" he has not presented himself well to be a presidential material and also making a statement such as “We have arrested the cedi from running and have given the keys to IGP”…. Looking at the state of Ghana’s economy today; it is now clear bawumia cannot call himself economic Messiah stated.

In an interview with the media, Mr. Baffour vociferously stated that, Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia should always remember that he is going to campaign base on his track record and as NPP delegates will always look at these factors before considering his flagbearership bid.

NPP And NDC Playing "Chaskele"  With EC... Rev Dr Worlanyo Mensah Tensions between Ghana's Electoral Commission (EC), National Democratic Congress (NDC), and New Patriotic Party (NPP) have escalated over alleged discrepancies in the 2024 voter register. Rev Dr Samuel Worlanyo Mensah, vice presidential candidate for the All People's Congress (APC), economist and a lecture at Wisconsin university Accra, has warned that the NDC and NPP's actions during the limited voter registration and special transfer of vote exercise have compromised the register's integrity. "The two major parties were bussing people from their homes to registration centers, encouraging minors and foreigners to register," Dr. Worlanyo alleged. The NDC recently raised concerns upon receiving the provisional voters register, citing bloated electoral rolls in certain polling stations and alleged attempts by the EC to rig the December 7 polls in favor of the governing NPP. NPP Government Shortchanges Cocoa Farmers: A Closer Look at the Discrepancies.... Twifo Atti-Morkwa NDC Communication Officer. In recent years, Ghana's cocoa farmers have faced significant disparities in the payments they receive for their hard work. A comparison of current cocoa pricing practices under the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government with those from the era of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) highlights a troubling trend: farmers are being shortchanged, while the government profits disproportionately. As of today, the global market price for cocoa stands at $6,470 per ton. With an exchange rate of Ghc 16.35 to $1, this translates to Ghc 105,784.50 per ton in Ghanaian cedis. Given that one ton comprises 16 bags, this sets the price per bag at Ghc 6,611.00. However, the current government pays cocoa farmers only Ghc 3,000 per ton—just 45.39% of the total price—retaining the remaining 54.61%, or Ghc 3,609.52 per ton. In stark contrast, under the NDC government led by J...

AFTER YEARS OF MINING IN AKWATIA – GHANA’S NEW ARTIFICIAL LAKE, THE ASUBONE STORY AND OUR TOURISM DRIVE  ABSTRACT.... H. BRAKO Diamonds were first discovered in the Gold Coast Colony (Ghana) near the Birim River close to the town of Abomosu in 1919. The Birim diamond discoveries led mining companies to invest along that river. However, not until 1929 did organized diamond mining begin following additional diamond discoveries made by Ghanaian prospectors in the gravels of Bediebewu streams near Tarkwa. In 1924, the Consolidated African Selection Trust (CAST) was formed and became the major diamond mining company in Ghana. Over 2 million carats were mined by CAST from 1924 to 1939. CAST’s early success led to investment in other diamond exploration and mining ventures in West Africa particularly in Ghana – resulting in the establishment of Great Consolidated Diamond (GCD).  1n 1963 Lake Asubone was created artificially in Asubone near Akwatia in Denkyembour District of Gh...
