 NGO Brings "Smiles" To The Faces Of The Aged, Poor And Needy Children


A Non-Governmental Organization called Samuel Korley Foundation on ester Saturday 2021 feted some aged people, poor and needy children in some Communities in the Twifo Ati-Morkwa District of the central region as part of of the Ester Festive season.


 They were provided with soft drinks, biscuits, rice, cooking oils, teaching and learning materials and other variable items.


The Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the group Mr. Samuel Korley revealed that the gesture was aimed at lessening the plight of the less privileged in the society and to bring cheer to them during the season. He said the organization was concerned about the welfare of deprived people especially the aged and the needy and would do everything possible to make them happy.


He said the organization is sponsoring a number of schools in some deprived communities in the area by providing them with celling fan, computers and other teaching and learning materials.


The programme was fun-packed with so many free activities including; free clothes, free health talk, football games, clean up exercise, dancing competition, hair dance, drama, poems.


Chief of the community, who congratulated the various NGOs for the kind gesture appealed to other NGOs, Corporate Bodies and Institutions to come to the aid of the less privileged in society to provide education for children and put some smiles on their faces.


The programme which was hosted at Twifo number one (NO-1) in the Twifo Ati-Morkwa District was witnessed and graced by the residents in the surrounding Communities.


Chief of the community, Nana Okai Ansah including some of the beneficiaries congratulated the NGO for the kind gesture appealed to other NGOs, Corporate Bodies and Institutions to come to the aid of the less privileged in society to provide education for children and put some smiles on their faces.


Mr. Samuel Korley expressed gratitude to the entire team for giving out their best in seeing the project through and not forgetting their donors.
