Christians Urged To Establish a Peaceful Covenant With God

Wordway Liberty Church founded and led by Prophetess Bishop Gladys Owusu Asante on behalf of Prophetess Chrishal Owusu (The Armor Bearer), has called on Christians to seek total life transformation through the significance of peace covenant with God.

Addressing the media ahead of this year's peace covenant which is scheduled on Sunday, 26th April 2026 at Kosoa Nyanyano Kakraba down, Prophetess Chrishal Owusu emphasised that peace covenant is not merely an annual festive ritual or event, but a divine period meant to trigger a shift from spiritual and physical stagnation to growth.

She explained that peace covenant carry a unique power capable of breaking chains of sin and providing solutions to challenges that defy human logic or medical intervention.

"It is a sign that comes with transformation. The bible States :Genesis 9:13, I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth:

She added: "this implies that God has established a covenant with humanity through sign of the rainbow."

"In the same effect, if anybody accept and avail his or her self for that powerful peace covenant with God, there should be a visible change.

Prophetess Chrishal Owusu further noted that God's covenant with mankind remain ultimate source of victory and offering a way out of habitual sins and providing hope for those who feel defeated by life's circumstances.

She urged believers to move beyond the excitement of the rainbow sign and focus on it's spiritual benefits to mankind which she described as the hope and comforter left behind to guide the faithful.

“If you get to know the importance and the reasons for the covenant, then definitely, there should be a transformation in your life. “We should not take the peace covenant for granted,” she stressed.

The Prophetess said the true measure of a successful acceptance and practice of peace covenant is the visible transformation from sin, adding, that, “if it doesn’t bring impact, then it means we don’t understand what we are doing.”

He called on the global Christian body to lead lives that reflect the the covenant we have with God.
