Our durbar grounds was built to be used for social gatherings and it served its purpose for years since its establishment until the DHM contractor who is supposed to construct our road destroyed part with the intention to construct a drainage. Unfortunately, he had abandoned the project and this has become problematic. In view of this, the durbar grounds can no longer serve its purpose and this has caused so much displeasure for the natives of Assin Akropong. Also, the contractor left equipment and tools, building materials on the road and this has narrowed the road which is affecting motorist.
