LPG promise To  Support Fathers By Providing Training To Get Jobs . The founder who double as the leader of Liberal Party of Ghana Honourable Kofi Akpaloo has emphatically promised and assured that when vote into power comes 2020 general elections, he will help Ghanaian fathers to be responsible. Too many fathers are missing from too many lives and homes. Children who grow up without a father are five times more likely to live in poverty, more likely to commit crime, drop out of school, abuse drugs, and end up in prison.  We need more fathers to realize that responsibility does not end at conception. We need them to understand that what makes a man is not the ability to have a child, it’s the courage to raise one. Liberal Party in government will support fathers by providing training to get jobs, removing tax penalties on married families, and expanding maternity and introduce paternity leave.  Liberal Party will reward those who are responsibly supporting their child

Stop Unfair Labour Hire Practices In Ghana...LPG

Stop Unfair Labour Hire Practices In Ghana...LPG. Too many labour hire workers are being treated like second class citizens, with lower wages, worse conditions, and no job security. Insecure labour hire work makes it harder for these workers to pay the rent and the bills. Without a permanent job with decent wages. In addition, labour hire workers are especially vulnerable to: 1. Having little or no say at work; 2. Being ripped off or paid less; 3. Missing out on workplace training; 4. Being easily fired, and 5. Being injured at work and then not returning after injury. There are simply too many dodgy firms engaging in unscrupulous labour hire practices that exploit workers and rip-off workers and communities. Enough is Enough. It’s time for communities to take a stand, speak out and make the Government take action. It’s time for the scourge of unfair labour hire practices to end.
