John Mahama is an Embarrassment to Women's Empowerment

John Mahama is an Embarrassment to Women's Empowerment.

John Dramani Mahama, the 2020 presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress is a  serious embarrassment to the empowerment of women in Ghana.

After realizing that he doesn't have any sound alternative policies and programmes for the good people of Ghana, John Mahama decided to play the feminist card to win sympathy from the women voters. Sadly enough, John Mahama settled on a woman who has no compassion for the destiny of Children from other women.

Prof. Jane Opoku Agyeman recklessly cancelled the allowances for Teacher and Nursing trainees. She strongly opposed the Free SHS Policy with the sole aim of destroying the destiny of Ghanaian Children especially our young girls. While undermining the Free SHS Policy, Prof. Naana Jane wickedly used Government Scholarship to help her Children to further their education abroad.

Any woman who is against Free SHS Policy but uses Government money to train her own children outside Ghana is heartless, wicked, selfish and a disgrace to women's empowerment.

It is important to also bring to the attention of Ghanaian Voters, the atrocities that John Mahama committed against the State hiding behind empty women's empowerment slogan:

1. *Selassie Ibrahim & Dzifa Attivor*
John Mahama colluded with Selassie Ibrahim and  Dzifa Attivor to defraud the State of a GHC 3.6 Million in the name of bus branding. At the same time Selassie Ibrahim was granted permission by John Mahama to front for a Chinese Company involved in some electrification project for which it was going to cost the Nation a whopping $98 Million Dollars.

2. *Nana Oye Lithur*
John Mahama's "empowerment" to Nana Oye Lithur turned her into Husband-beater and Husband-abuser leading to the collapse of her 20years marriage. Interestingly, the husband is a lawyer to John Mahama. A painful experience which I would not go further because of my respect for Tony Lithur and his Children.

This Husband-beater and Husband-abuser is making empty noises forcing another character on the neck of Ghanaians as Running Mate. Gender Advocates specialized in beating and abusing their own husbands. God is watching.

3. *Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman*
John Mahama used Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman to scrap research and book allowance for University Lecturers. According to the NDC, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman cancelled Allowances for Teacher and Nursing trainees under instruction from John Mahama.

John Mahama collapsed the Scholarship Secretariat and GETFUND through Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman.

While John Mahama was motivating these women to cause these atrocities against Ghanaians, he gave only GHC 200 to Zainabu Sumaila to rear pigs to feed her family as if Zainabu Sumaila is not a human being who deserves better empowerment.

The Incompetent ticket of John and Jane cannot be trusted.

NPP And NDC Playing "Chaskele"  With EC... Rev Dr Worlanyo Mensah Tensions between Ghana's Electoral Commission (EC), National Democratic Congress (NDC), and New Patriotic Party (NPP) have escalated over alleged discrepancies in the 2024 voter register. Rev Dr Samuel Worlanyo Mensah, vice presidential candidate for the All People's Congress (APC), economist and a lecture at Wisconsin university Accra, has warned that the NDC and NPP's actions during the limited voter registration and special transfer of vote exercise have compromised the register's integrity. "The two major parties were bussing people from their homes to registration centers, encouraging minors and foreigners to register," Dr. Worlanyo alleged. The NDC recently raised concerns upon receiving the provisional voters register, citing bloated electoral rolls in certain polling stations and alleged attempts by the EC to rig the December 7 polls in favor of the governing NPP. In res...

C/R: Assin Oboba Kokorowa Pupils Are Forced To Study In Dilapidated And Death Trap Building

C/R: Assin Oboba Kokorowa Pupils Are Forced To Study In Dilapidated And Death Trap Building The fate of over 500 pupils at the Assin Obobakokrowa D/A Basic School in the Assin North District of the Central Region hangs in the balance as they learn under dilapidated structures. The the Assin Obobakokrowa D/A Basic School has not seen any major rehabilitation since its establishment in 1970s. Parents and residents in and around the community are appealing for urgent assistance due to the deteriorating condition of their classroom blocks .  The school's infrastructure has become unsafe, forcing pupils to learn under dire circumstances. Parts of the aluminum roofing sheets are rusting away, while their remains hang loosely on the tiny erected concrete pillars. Class sessions end abruptly whenever the clouds gather.  “Our roof is ripping off. And when it rains, it leaks into our classroom, so we have to end classes.  “When it leaks, our books get wet and we are not able...

NPP Government Shortchanges Cocoa Farmers: A Closer Look at the Discrepancies....Twifo Atti-Morkwa NDC Communication Officer.

NPP Government Shortchanges Cocoa Farmers: A Closer Look at the Discrepancies.... Twifo Atti-Morkwa NDC Communication Officer. In recent years, Ghana's cocoa farmers have faced significant disparities in the payments they receive for their hard work. A comparison of current cocoa pricing practices under the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government with those from the era of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) highlights a troubling trend: farmers are being shortchanged, while the government profits disproportionately. As of today, the global market price for cocoa stands at $6,470 per ton. With an exchange rate of Ghc 16.35 to $1, this translates to Ghc 105,784.50 per ton in Ghanaian cedis. Given that one ton comprises 16 bags, this sets the price per bag at Ghc 6,611.00. However, the current government pays cocoa farmers only Ghc 3,000 per ton—just 45.39% of the total price—retaining the remaining 54.61%, or Ghc 3,609.52 per ton. In stark contrast, under the NDC government led by J...
