CORPORAL PROMISE ADZINU, A POLICE OFFICER AT TWIFO PRASO STATION MEETS HIS UNTIMELY DEATH IN A MOTTO ACCIDENT


Corporal Promise Adzinu who is a police officer at Twifo Praso station in the Twifo Ati-Morkwa district of the central region with registration number: *51312G/CPL* is reported to have prematurely lost his life in a motto accident.


According to the central regional police P.R.O. DSP Irene Oppong who narrated and confirmed the tragic incidence to Listowel Aboagye Dacosta of Sweet FM, on the 29/01/22 about 2030hrs a Daewoo Truck with reg. No CR 324-21 whose driver was Abban Joseph Kwadwo 39 years old who was heading towards Cape Coast. On reaching Twifo Mampong, he veered off his lane and in the process crashed into an on-coming Apsonic motorbike with reg. No. M-21-CR-1031 ridden by Corporal Promise Adzinu who was also riding towards Twifo Praso with a passenger at the back.


DSP Irene Oppong explained that both the police officer and the pillion sustained serious degrees of injuries and were rushed to the Twifo Praso district hospital where corporal Promise Adzisu was pronounced dead. The body has been deposited at the Twifo Praso government mortuary for preservation and autopsy while investigations are being conducted about the incidence.
