Blame Assin Central Communications Officer If NPP Losses In Assin Central Constituency.... Aggrieved NPP Youths

Blame Assin Central Communications Officer If NPP Losses In Assin Central Constituency.... Aggrieved NPP Youths.

A Released from Assin Akropong Youth Association.

Our attention has been drawn to several lies and provocative words by the Assin central New Patriotic Party (NPP) Communications director to the good citizens of Assin Akropong and Wurakese for expressing their grievances on the bad nature of their abandoned road by the DHM company.

After several months of abandoned the said road , the contractor and the communications director has not given a single reason to the Chiefs and the good people of the communities.

Indeed Assin Akropong and Assin   Wurakese has been very faithful to the NPP since 1998 till now, but the Assin central Constituency officer, Paul Ato popularly known as Uncle Ato and DHM company have decided to destroy our good relationship built over the years.

But we deeply regret how the communications director and his team has been addressing the issues on the Borofoyeduru-Oda  Akenkansu highway roads.

Whether deliberate or lack of facts on the abandoned roads, Uncle Ato has chosen to spilled lies and also create impression that the contractor is seriously on site working but knowing that he is not telling us the truth.

Indeed Uncle Ato is taking the people of Assin Akropong and  Assin Wurakese for granted, all for a simple reason that people of Assin Akropong and Wurakese have "short memory" if not that, he can not have the temerity to say anything on the road and the people.

       Photos Of Uncle Ato

Admittedly, a group from a nearby community served us and invitation letter to join them for a demonstration of which we are yet to respond to them and also provide them more information on the road.

On that uncle Ato on 15 February 2020 on a splash fm morning show political plartform  levelled a wild allegations and lies again for his usual ways of getting fame that:

i. Our project Director attempted to bribe the Assin Foso GPRTU to assist the communities to  demonstrate against the contractor on the way abandoned road.

ii. He also claimed that our project Director is always barking on the abandoned road all  because his company failed to win the 49km road.

We there wants to state it on authority that:

1. It is never true that our project Director has ever had any meeting with any officials from GPRTU.

2. None of the 4 construction companies he works with of which two is an international construction company and the other two are into real estate bided for the said contract so there is no way they qualify to do the 49km DHM contract.

The above facts shows that, the communication director doesn't gather facts on current issues before coming out to commentary on issues.

We therefore plead with the chairman of the npp party in Assin Central to restrict him from his continues lies and damage he is causing to the communities and the party at large.

If he continues his way of unresearched communication he will encourage the 6500 voters to vote against the NPP party in the coming elections.

We finally demand an unqualified apology from him and also needs a press release from the NPP party on why the contractor is not on site.

We strongly believe that the party will respond to our grievances as soon as possible.
Thank you.

NPP And NDC Playing "Chaskele"  With EC... Rev Dr Worlanyo Mensah Tensions between Ghana's Electoral Commission (EC), National Democratic Congress (NDC), and New Patriotic Party (NPP) have escalated over alleged discrepancies in the 2024 voter register. Rev Dr Samuel Worlanyo Mensah, vice presidential candidate for the All People's Congress (APC), economist and a lecture at Wisconsin university Accra, has warned that the NDC and NPP's actions during the limited voter registration and special transfer of vote exercise have compromised the register's integrity. "The two major parties were bussing people from their homes to registration centers, encouraging minors and foreigners to register," Dr. Worlanyo alleged. The NDC recently raised concerns upon receiving the provisional voters register, citing bloated electoral rolls in certain polling stations and alleged attempts by the EC to rig the December 7 polls in favor of the governing NPP. NPP Government Shortchanges Cocoa Farmers: A Closer Look at the Discrepancies.... Twifo Atti-Morkwa NDC Communication Officer. In recent years, Ghana's cocoa farmers have faced significant disparities in the payments they receive for their hard work. A comparison of current cocoa pricing practices under the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government with those from the era of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) highlights a troubling trend: farmers are being shortchanged, while the government profits disproportionately. As of today, the global market price for cocoa stands at $6,470 per ton. With an exchange rate of Ghc 16.35 to $1, this translates to Ghc 105,784.50 per ton in Ghanaian cedis. Given that one ton comprises 16 bags, this sets the price per bag at Ghc 6,611.00. However, the current government pays cocoa farmers only Ghc 3,000 per ton—just 45.39% of the total price—retaining the remaining 54.61%, or Ghc 3,609.52 per ton. In stark contrast, under the NDC government led by J...

AFTER YEARS OF MINING IN AKWATIA – GHANA’S NEW ARTIFICIAL LAKE, THE ASUBONE STORY AND OUR TOURISM DRIVE  ABSTRACT.... H. BRAKO Diamonds were first discovered in the Gold Coast Colony (Ghana) near the Birim River close to the town of Abomosu in 1919. The Birim diamond discoveries led mining companies to invest along that river. However, not until 1929 did organized diamond mining begin following additional diamond discoveries made by Ghanaian prospectors in the gravels of Bediebewu streams near Tarkwa. In 1924, the Consolidated African Selection Trust (CAST) was formed and became the major diamond mining company in Ghana. Over 2 million carats were mined by CAST from 1924 to 1939. CAST’s early success led to investment in other diamond exploration and mining ventures in West Africa particularly in Ghana – resulting in the establishment of Great Consolidated Diamond (GCD).  1n 1963 Lake Asubone was created artificially in Asubone near Akwatia in Denkyembour District of Gh...
