Pro. Stephen Adei Has Been Sworn In As GRA Board Chairman.
Former Director General and Rector of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Prof Stephen Adei has been sworn in as the new Chair of the Board of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).

Also sworn at a ceremony on Friday by the Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta was Eugene Asante Ofosuhene as a Board Member.
Prof Adei’s swearing-in follows the retirement notification of Kofi Nti, the current Commissioner-General, which takes effect on October 1, 2019.

Mr. Ammishaddai Owusu-Amoah, Commissioner for Domestic Tax Revenue Division (DTRD), will become the acting Commissioner-General also responsible for DTRD.
“Government is aiming to raise ¢45.2bn in domestic revenues as the 2019 target even though GRA is 7.3% behind target as at the end of July,” Mr Ofori-Atta said.
